Successful 1965 Porsche 911 Test at Donington

Tuthill shakes down latest 1965 Porsche 911 build

Our latest 1965 Porsche 911 2-litre historic race car build enjoyed a successful shakedown at Donington last week. Testing began with hail, sleet and near-freezing temperatures, before the sun came out after lunch. The Light Ivory 911 performed reliably throughout and we enjoyed great track time in the afternoon, trying a number of chassis changes and preparing the car for further testing at Paul Ricard later this month.

Tuthill Porsche has a number of 2-litre 911 builds in progress at present, with two more early 911s recently ordered by a European client. Tuthill-built circuit racers will be seen at many race meetings in the UK and Europe this year, including the GT & Sports Car Cup race series and at Goodwood, Silverstone Classic and the Spa 6 Hours.
