Well done to Edmund Peel and Jane Edgington, who took a class win on this weekend’s Severn Valley Rally in their Tuthill-prepared 2-litre Porsche 911.
The 2014 Severn Valley Stages rally is a round of the West Wales Rally Spares RAC Rally Championship, the Brian Dennis Welsh Historic Championship and the Pirelli MSA Welsh Forest Rally Championship. A wide variety of cars turned out to compete in this famous event.
The big turnout may have cranked up the pressure on some drivers, as no fewer than nineteen cars retired from the historic field over the course of the rally. Edmund and Jane reached the finish reliably, which is always our first concern when a Tuthill car competes.
Next big rally for Tuthill Porsche is the historic Rally Ypres in Belgium, with Glenn Janssens’ superb Porsche 911. We’re also still working on plans to bring something exciting to Scandinavia this year. Stay tuned for more on that!
