Porsche 993 Service in Tuthill Classic workshop

So much news from our 2015 R-GT rally campaign with François Delecour, but it’s business as usual elsewhere at Tuthill Porsche in Wardington, Oxfordshire, far away from the WRC glamour.

As February sunshine allows classic Porsche owners to contemplate their 2015 activities, our road car service workshop is now booking up for March and April. This Porsche 993 C2S got ahead of the queue with a recent visit for its annual maintenance, but of course we work on both air-cooled and water-cooled 911s.

The 993 is a great all-rounder. Known to enthusiasts as the last old-school 911 before Porsche switched philosophies entirely with the water-cooled 996 built to a new set of mass production routines and standards, interest in the widebody Carrera S models has been steadily increasing. This year is likely to bring new highs for 993 prices.
