Tuthill Porsche 911 restoration projects in progress

Superb 1973 Porsche 911E in restoration

Not content with a long list of race cars in build and a diary full of exciting Porsche race and rally events, our Porsche restoration workshop continues to bring classic Porsches back to prime condition, securing their future as family heirlooms and usable classic investments.

A number of really great road car projects have been through our fabrication and paint shops in the past twelve months, including several early 911 Targas, steel bodied bespoke-built RSR road cars and highly original RHD early 911 Coupes, including the earliest AFN 911 press car.

A thorough restoration on this fine RHD 1973 911E Lux has just come through our in-house bodyshop. Following a complete rub-down by hand to prepare for rustproofing, the detailed protection was applied and we prepare the new surface for primer and paint in the original Green Metallic shade that the car was delivered in. As our photos show, the finished article is really something: it is a stunning step back in time to when elegant classic 911s ruled the roads of Europe.
