The company is the world leader in historic rally Porsche 911s and has operations spanning modern RGT rally cars, historic race and rally Porsches, extreme rally Porsche 911s, the Below Zero Ice Driving programme, restoration, bespoke build and road car service.

Job Purpose:

To build new and rebuild Porsche competition and road engines and gearboxes. To carry out full strip-down, cleaning and inspection of all engine and gearbox components. Identify and rectify all faults on engine and gearbox components. Carry out engine and gearbox assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To build high quality Porsche engines and gearboxes
  • To carry out engine running diagnosis
  • Adhere to a high level of personal presentation
  • Maintain the workshop to the best presentation level as possible
  • Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained correctly, any defects reported
  • Be familiar with and work to the company’s health and safety standards
  • Advise and report on any issues relating to health and safety
  • To comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Support other departments when required

Skills Required:

  • Excellent Porsche engine and gearbox knowledge & technical skills
  • Be up to date with all relevant technology
  • Be able to communicate effectively and resolve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent communication, organisation and inter-personal skills
  • Be flexible and possess a good sense of humour
  • Self-motivated and with the ability to work unsupervised

  • Energetic, proactive, calm under pressure, highly personable, and mature personality
  • Strong Team-worker – ability to thrive in a small, closely-knit, and dedicated team
  • Excellent Organisational Skills
  • Flexibility – being prepared to work longer hours when occasionally required

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience of building/rebuilding high performance historic engines and gearboxes, preferably Porsche
  • Relevant technical knowledge
  • A clean current driving licence is required
