2.0L Cup cars prepare for 2020

2.0L Cup cars in preparation for the opening event of the 2020 2L Cup season

The 2020 2.0L Cup season begins in April, with a new date for the Dix Mille Tours du Castellet of April 4th – 5th at Paul Ricard. Our workshops are busy preparing cars for the third year of the 2.0L Cup with Peter Auto.

The series will feature many new entrants this year. One newcomer is David Danglard: the Peking to Paris Rally podium finisher and kart racing mogul will be back on track in a 1965 car currently being built here at Wardington.

The diehard air-cooled enthusiast has amassed a substantial 911 collection and shipped us this car from his stable. While the ’65 has done many miles on track in America, it needs some work to make it eligible for the 2L Cup series. The shell has been stripped and will soon be in fabrication.

Other new 2-litre builds are also in progress, but at least one must remain under wraps for the moment. However, we’re delighted to be working on many more well-known 2-litre racers ahead of Paul Ricard. Some are just in for a refresh, while others need a little bit of bodywork to look their best.

The 2-litre Swedish rally car prepped at short notice to race in 2019 has also returned to the workshop for a more thorough overhaul. We’re looking forward to seeing that one in action later this year. Contact us to discuss any aspect of 2.0L Cup racing including buying or building a car or event support.
