2-litre Tuthill Porsche 911s race at Donington Historic Festival

Two 1965 Tuthill Porsche 911 2-litre cars will race at the 2021 Donington Historic Festival

Two 2-litre Tuthill Porsche 911s are amongst the entrants for this weekend’s Donington Historic Festival at Donington Park Circuit in Derbyshire.

Held behind closed doors, the 2021 Donington Historic Festival is the tenth anniversary of this celebration of motorsport, with hundreds of historic race cars from the 1920s to the 1980s taking part. The schedule includes two inaugural races: the Amon Cup for GT40s and the three-hour Royal Automobile Club Pall Mall Cup endurance race.

Our 2-litre cars will race in the RAC Pall Mall Cup. Five 911s have been entered for the event, so the competition should be fierce! Shaun Lynn will be partned by Max Lynn and Andrew Haddon, while William Paul (main picture) will drive with Rory Butcher and our own Richard Tuthill – Richard making his race debut at Donington.

The condensed timetable of just two days means that the racing will come thick and fast all weekend. To avoid unneccessary overnight stays, qualifying and racing for the various grids will be held on the same day, so we will be racing on Sunday. Follow all the race action via livestream on the Donington Historic Festival website.
