Porsche 911 Backdate to 1974 2.7 Carrera

This is the story of a conversion of a 1989 911 3.2 into a 1975 911 Carrera.

Tuthill Porsche is delighted to see another positive article in the press praising the team’s work. 911 & Porsche World spent the day with the owner and his car – a Tuthill Porsche Retro Conversion of a 1989 911 3.2 into a 1974/75 911 Carrera 2.7. It was a great success and another project where the customers expectations were surpassed.

He loved it so much he created a website in honour of his new car! This is how the satisfied customer describes his new Porsche 911 build. “From the outside, it looks like a straight-out-of-the-showroom 1975 Carrera in the Lime Green of the era.

However, underneath that smooth seventies exterior it has a 2008 competition specification engine, a bespoke braking system and pedal box, various handling and suspension upgrades and a brand new lightweight RS interior.”

“Choosing the colour was tough, but working with the Tuthill Team on all the various specification options was a great part of the process. It’s quicker, more beautiful, more individual and a whole load more fun than a new Carerra 997, and for less money. Easy decision!”
