Bodywork Restoration on Belgian Porsche 911S

Blowing the doors off a continental rally car

It’s always great when old friends return to Francis Tuthill’s famous Porsche workshops at Wardington. It’s especially rewarding when they come from overseas.

Recently arrived back with us is this beautiful little 911S, all the way from Belgium. Having built this car at Wardington many moons ago, we’re very proud to have remained involved with it for such a long time.

Though it is shown here in full fly-splattered glory, the silver S is a credit to its owner. Despite regular competition use, the car is always presented immaculately and turns heads wherever it goes. The red and black trim contrasts perfectly with the bright exterior, and gives this classic 911 exceptional presence.

The S in is for replacement doors and an engine service ahead of the upcoming season. We look forward to sharing some ‘after’ pictures with you all when the work is finished.

Located south of Birmingham, less than three hours drive from the popular UK ferry ports, and with a direct train link to Birmingham International Airport, or links to Heathrow via Reading, Tuthill Porsche is well placed to work on the classic Porsches of European customers. The changing Euro exchange rate makes our labour rates and bespoke parts prices particularly good value for money at the minute.
