Classic Porsche Colour Change

Colour Change on an Early 911

Our always-busy paint shop has just carried out a colour change on a customer’s early 911 coupe.

The car, recently built at Wardington from a bare shell for use as an early-style daily driver, just didn’t tick all the owner’s boxes when the first colour chosen was put into regular use, so the decision was made to remove the bright safety shade, and go for something slightly more restrained.

Albert Blue was the colour chosen for the repaint, and the muted tone has completely transformed the car’s appearance. Highlights to the new look will come from original brightwork, all in good condition. The finished product is bound to be resplendent.

The bodyshop here at Francis Tuthill’s Porsche Workshop deals almost entirely with 911s, so we are well placed to help with problems on these legendary cars. We also handle Audi, VW and Skoda cars (witness the A3 reflected in this 911).

Whether you need a quick touch up on some bumper scratches, a minor accident repair, or a full bare metal respray on your road or race car, give us a call today to discuss your requirements. The bodyshop can be contacted on 01295 750 514.
