Glenn Janssens Debut Win in Flames

Tuthill friend and customer Glenn Janssens has taken his first big event win, on the Rally Geko Wervik in Belgium.

Glenn and co-driver Tom de Geetere led the rally most of the way, finishing 2 minutes 43 seconds ahead of Dirk Depuydt in his Mark 2 Escort. Third place went to Christophe Anckaert, 3 minutes off the lead in another Escort.

We were delighted to get the attached picture via email this morning, asking if the flames were normal, or whether they were something to worry about. “They’re great,” said Richard, “we need to encourage more of them!”

Well done to Glenn and Tom. Their next big event is the Ypres Historic Rally, which takes place this weekend. We’ll let you know how they get on. Fingers crossed for another good result!
