Safari Rally: Stage Five Flooded & Cancelled

Day 2 of the 2011 East African Safari and today’s second stage, from Mounduli to Mto Wa Mbu looks to have been cancelled due to flooding.

Rally organisers have just sent out the restart times for competitors: Bjorn will kick things off at 13.15, followed by de Mevius, Duncan, Marcy and Blomqvist.

We have three cars in the top ten: Bjorn (1), Thomas Flohr (7) and Travis Pastrana (8). Everyone is still on the timesheets and no bad news texts so far today! More news as it arrives.
