Tuthill Porsche 911 Back to British Rallying

Two-time BHRC champion, Dessie Nutt, returns to the British Historic Rally championship this weekend in his much-loved Tuthill Porsche 911.

The 2013 Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship series starts with the Rally Marketing Mid Wales Stages, based in Newtown, Powys, on March 3rd. As always, BHRC crews will run ahead of the modern cars, ensuring they have the added advantage of competing while the stage surface is in the best possible condition.

BHRC Chairman, David Lucas, reckons this year’s championship could be the most exciting for years. “Having champions with the pedigree of Dessie Nutt returning to the Mintex MSA series shows clearly that what we are offering in the way of simple, good value for money rallying, appeals to a lot of competitors. With the high standard of cars and crews registering, everyone will be determined to fight harder than ever for overall, category and class honours.”

Last year’s rally was a decent event for us, Dessie taking P2 in class following the winter off. This year, the car is ready to go one better and take a win: fingers crossed for a good weekend.
