Tuthill Porsche 911 Martini RSR scores debut podium

Tuthill Porsche 911 Martini RSR for a European customer

Our latest rally build went off to Belgium last weekend to take part in the Tielt Historic rally, or TAC Rally as it is commonly known. The TAC has been going many years and 911s are no strangers: many’s the Porsche win taken over this course.

The event was a huge success. As owner/driver Glenn Janssens settled into the car over the course of the event, the stage times began to tumble. By rally end, he was setting second fastest stage times in the Martini RSR replica. In only his second ever rally, Glenn finished third overall, an amazing achievement for a new driver in a brand new build.

It’s always a joy to see one of our cars do well. To see it do well on its first outing is doubly satisfying. To see it finish on the podium in the hands of a total newbie is stunning: it’s possibly the most impressive debut by a rookie driver yet seen in one of our rally cars.

Well done to Glenn for his incredible performance. Here’s to the next event!
