Tuthill Porsche 911 Roll Cage

Rally cars as Sculpture: Making Something out of Nothing

Just as every rally car is different, so too is every cage. No two are ever the same; each is unique. In the final days of assembly, with the shell still in bare metal and the body unpainted and unpretentious, a glorious honesty glows halo-like around the chassis. The artistry that has gone into its creation remains on show for all to see. Brave, compelling, rewarding.

No matter how many times we see one of our cars reach this stage, it is always incredibly satisfying. We made something out of nothing. No artistic spirit could ask for more.

To many people these are just cars and the bars are just cages. To us, they are the difference between life and death, and our skill and craftsmanship is what makes that difference.
