Tuthill Porsche 911 3.0 RSR wins World Sportscar Masters

Tuthill-built Porsche 911 RSR winsthe World Sportscar Masters historic motorsport circuit racing series

Great result for Tuthill Porsche customer recently, when our friend and customer Mark Bates from EB Motorsport won the World Sportscar Masters Series.

Driving his Tuthill-prepared 3.0 911 RSR, Mark worked hard for the championship win after a dominant series in his class. The video we shared earlier in the year of Mark charging hard on a wet Nürburgring to fight back from aquaplaning off track was typical of the never-say-die performances he produced all year.

The organisers insisted on a motor strip down after the win, where all was proved to be legal and above board. Mark’s first place was ahead of fellow Porsche pilot Paul Howells, with David Forsbrey’s Ford GT40 coming in third.

Just goes to show you can’t keep a good Porsche (or its driver) down. Though Mark is a recent arrival on the historic racing scene, his talent and dogged attitude will doubtless see him to a few more championships.

Well done, Mark!
