Tuthill Porsche is in mourning today, following the death of long-time friend and technical partner, Graham Gleeson of EXE-TC Suspension.

“We’re distraught at this terrible news,” said Richard Tuthill. “Our team’s close personal and professional association with Graham and EXE-TC since 2005 has been a key ingredient in our progress, most notably on marathon rallies including the Safari Classic and the London to Capetown.

“Graham was a visionary. His competitive mindset and early career in motorcycle racing combined with an incredible technical brain and sharp sense in business created a motorsport game-changer. Graham’s revolutionary approach to suspension led to seven World Rally Championships for Sebastian Loeb, and our first-ever win by a Porsche 911 on the legendary East African Safari Rally in 2011.

“Words cannot express our grief at the loss of such a wonderful friend and supporter. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Our team will participate in the 2013 Safari Classic Rally in honour of Graham, and all he has meant to us. EXE-TC products race on in his memory: those little bits of Graham will cover many more winning miles for years to come.”

Graham was an engaging personality and a gifted engineer, well known throughout motorsport. All of us who enjoyed Graham’s company will feel the loss.

RIP Graham Gleeson: 17/02/1953 – 22/08/2013
