Tuthill Porsche Restoration Workshop: 356 Roadster

The Tuthill Porsche fabrication and restoration workshop continues to encounter interesting projects, like this classic Porsche 356 Roadster.

The Tuthill Porsche restoration workshop continues to encounter interesting projects. Latest classic Porsche through our doors is Richard’s very own Porsche 356 Roadster, found in America and brought back to the UK for a major overhaul.

We’re slowly piecing the history of this superb 356 together – much like the bodywork. This car had major corrosion in the nose, front cabin section and anything below the sill line. More details of this early Porsche’s history will be shared as we uncover them. For now, we’re delighted to have uncovered the full extent of the chassis rust issues and to have high quality repairs under way.

Tuthill Porsche Restoration Workshop

Tuthill Porsche has been working on early Porsche 356s and 911s for well over thirty years, and our fabricators are second to none. Call us on 01295 750 514 to discuss your Porsche rust issues: most older cars have them and they are far less expensive when addressed early on. Just because you can’t see a rust bubble getting worse does not mean the rot is stable: the chemical reaction has to be taking place somewhere!
