BT Sport airs Tuthill Porsche Safari Rally Documentary

BT Sport screens Tuthill Porsche documentary following biggest-ever rally team on world’s toughest rally.

For those of us not attending Wales Rally GB (for one reason or another), BT Sport offers full coverage of the home WRC event, and now some bonus additional content, too! Alongside footage from Rally GB, BT Sport will screen a documentary following the biggest-ever rally team on the world’s toughest rally.

Filmed on location in the UK and Africa, the one-hour documentary follows Tuthill Porsche’s record-breaking campaign to rally seventeen historic Porsche 911s through the epic landscape of Kenya and Tanzania on the 2013 East African Safari Classic Rally.

First run in 1953 and long respected as the ultimate motorsport car breaker, the original spirit of Safari has not diminished over time. First-ever World Rally champion and undisputed King of Safari, Björn Waldegård, described Safari Classic as “just as hard and just as fast: the only difference is we get a little more sleep these days”.
