Tuthill Porsche has won the 2011 Safari Classic Rally, with Björn Waldegård behind the wheel of one of our classic Porsche 911 rally cars. Bjorn was co-driven by son Mathias: a formidable pair and previous winners of the Safari Classic.
This was undoubtedly the toughest ever running of the classic car-killing Kenyan race. We are overjoyed with the result – the first time a Porsche has ever won Safari, despite many attempts by the Porsche factory in the ’70s and ’80s.
