Seasons Greetings from Tuthill Porsche

Merry Christmas from all at Tuthill Porsche! Here’s to a great new year in 2020

Seasons greetings and a very merry Christmas to all of our friends and supporters! 2019 was a wonderful year for our team, with many memorable moments. Moving into our new workshop helped us to achieve our most productive year to date.

One incredible week in September saw twenty-three cars leave Wardington for events all over the world. Tuthill Porsches took outright victory on the East African Safari Classic Rally, Modena Cento Ore, the 2.0L Cup at the Monza Historic Festival and in the 2.0L Cup Gentleman Drivers’ Championship.

We prepared cars for rallies including the Monte Carlo Historic, Morocco Historic, Peking to Paris and the Adriatic Adventure Rally, with a podium finish on Peking to Paris and a class win on the Adriatic event. Historic racing included Peter Auto’s Classic Endurance Racing, Goodwood Revival and the 2.0L Cup, which delivered exceptional racing in 2019.

Below Zero Ice Driving had a terrific season (bookings now open for 2020) and Tuthill customers explored the globe in classic Porsches, with one lucky couple embarking upon their very own round-the-world adventure. We also built and restored many incredible Porsche road cars during the year, including several historically significant 911s.

Our workshop is closed from December 24th until January 2nd. We’ll be straight back into it upon our return, with cars shipping to rallies in Africa and New Zealand and many exciting road, race and rally builds in progress. We’ll also be preparing cars for the 2020 racing season.

Next year’s racing season warms up with the 78th Goodwood Members’ Meeting at the end of March, before 2.0L Cup returns as part of the Dix Mille Tours du Castellet on April 4th and 5th. Several new Tuthill 2-litre builds will make their debut in 2020 and we look forward to more exciting racing in the highly competitive gentlemen’s championship.

We wish you all the very best for 2020! Get in touch if you would like to discuss a bespoke Porsche build or any of the events on our race and rally calendars.
