Our latest Safari 911 recently made its competition debut on the Red Kite Rally. Built for Philip Kadoorie, the car will take part in this year’s Safari Classic Rally, co-driven by Ryan Champion. Philip and Ryan shook the car down in Wales before its maiden event.
Each of our Safari 911s is partly an artwork created to the customer’s vision, but this one is particularly special, as the Jever-inspired livery has all been hand painted here at Wardington. The finished result is superb and the owner is smitten with his new 911.
By the time Safari begins in November, this 911 will have criss-crossed the world, with several road trips, tests and a rally or two under its belt. We look forward to letting it loose on the open roads of Kenya and Tanzania and watch it express its primary purpose: to explore the wonderful African wilderness and bring Porsche joy to the world!
The car is currently in California, where it is turning heads at the famous Monterey Car Week. Watch out for a feature on Porsche’s Type7 Instagram channel very soon.
