Tuthill Porsche is based in Oxfordshire and completes restoration projects and builds bespoke road cars. All aspects of Porsche rebuilds are carried out in-house, including engine and transmission builds, rust repair, metal fabrication, roll cage installation and full body paint. We are looking for a Management Accountant to join the team. The role will report to the Financial Controller, owning the day-to-day management accounting activities whilst partnering the wider business.
The working hours in this position are Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 with a 45 minute lunch break, a total of 41.25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the monthly management accounts and analysis to trial balance within agreed time frames
- Manage accruals and prepayments ensuring that postings are accurate
- Closing of completed job cards and releasing of associated deposits
- Completion of the company VAT/Intrastat returns for submission to HMRC
- Sales ledger invoicing and chasing of monies outstanding
- Management of the company’s bank accounts and credit cards including monthly reconciliations and analysis of spend
- Maintain spreadsheets for costs and revenue for key rally events.
- Preparation of weekly cashflow forecasts.
- Maintenance of Holding company (minimal transactions)
- Oversee, review and approve weekly supplier payments to agreed deadlines
- Understand the Finance and in house system to be able to utilise effectively
- Liaise with operational staff in resolving escalated supplier Invoice Issues, together with accruals and prepayments
- Support AP Liaising with suppliers to ensure queries are dealt with in a timely manner to not Impact supplies
- Develop AP reporting and work closely with purchasing, reporting on supplier spend, ensuring terms maintained are sufficient for business needs
- Develop strong accounts payable controls aligned to strategic development plans and suggest new ways of working efficiently
- Oversee production of monthly creditors reports for review and to Include reconciliation to control accounts
- Oversee regular supplier statement reconciliation for review and to agreed deadlines
- Suggest new ways of working and champion changes throughout the business, utilising IT
- Ensure transactions are posted daily and correct first time
Skills & Personal Attributes
Essential:
- A detailed end to end understanding of all financial transactions and processes, impact on finance, management reporting and on the wider business
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Intermediate level in MS Excel is essential
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
- Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships internally and externally
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to priorities own workload and manage conflicting priorities

- Studying towards a recognised qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
